Cooking Class!

1 Feb

Last night I went to a cooking class called Tavola across the bridge! There was a group of about 20 of us and three teachers who came around and helped us make three dishes. We started with Vegetable Millegolie (Millefigolie di Verudure) which was sliced eggplant stacked with fotina cheese and filled with a zucchini and potato mixture. We then made the main course of Crespelle alla Fiorentina (Crepes Florentine) which were crepes stuffed with spinach and ricotta cheese. For dessert we made Tiramisu and then all sat down in the wine cellar to eat! My favorite was the Vegetable Millegolie, but it was all amazing! We all had so much fun we want to do another cooking class to learn how to make pastas!
